Freedom Trail
The Freedom Trail is accessible, however there are obstacles such as several hills, cobblestoned areas, and bricked sidewalks, and from time-to-time uneven terrain.
Use of a power wheelchair is recommended.
Historic Sites
Official Freedom Trail historic sites' access information may be found by exploring each specific sites' page here.
Walking Tours/American Sign Language Service
All Freedom Trail Foundation guides are trained to make tours as accessible as possible and may alter routes.
Requests for American Sign Language interpreters should be made as far in advance of a tour as possible and with a minimum of three weeks out. The Foundation will make every effort to secure an interpreter, however, due to tight demand, may not be able to do so.
